  • Eat 🍽️

  • Drink Wine 🍷

  • Ski! ⛷️

📈 Best things

  • The freaking food and the prices!

📉 Worst things

  • Cold eastern european faces in the metro

  • The buildings can be very depressing

  • but they are very heartwarming and welcoming people.

Anything Else?

I couldn’t find a nomad community here.

I never researched super actively, although other places (Chiang-Mai for example) in comparison, just took me to the community.

That wasn’t the case in Tbilisi.

Super cozy coworking spaces & workable cafes exist, and are mostly cheap.

Facebook groups that I found were pretty much dead.

I think it is completely different in summer though.

I met beautiful Georgian people, young and old - they are very heartwarming people - from a conversation with the taxi driver to a few beers in an underground bar talking about your home country, you will find everything :)

Wolands Speakeasy bar and the whole square is a very funny place - highly recommended.

Food & Wine in Georgia

✅ Go here if…

  • You want a gastronomical trip

  • and to experience a completely different culture and values from the western world.

❌ Avoid here if…

  • You want to have it really fancy. Supermarkets are mostly super small and everything just scream Soviet Union.

See you back here next Friday with a fresh Digital Nomad Trip Report 🔵 until then…
